How to Build a Media Kit as a Sri Lankan Creator in 2026 (With Template)

Every Sri Lankan creator who has ever slid into a brand's DM asking for a collaboration has faced the same response: "Can you send us your stats?" And then the panic sets in. What stats? In what format? How do I make this look professional?

A media kit is a one or two page document that tells a brand everything they need to know about you before they decide to work with you. It is the difference between getting a LKR 50,000 brand deal and getting ignored.

What to include:

Your name, niche, and a one-line description of what you create. Your follower count across all platforms Instagram, TikTok, YouTube. Your average engagement rate (likes + comments divided by followers, multiplied by 100). Your audience demographics age range, gender split, top locations. Your top 3 performing posts with screenshots. Your rates for each content type. Contact information.

The stats that actually matter to Sri Lankan brands:

Brands are shifting from one-off campaigns to long-term ambassador relationships, seeing 3.5x higher ROI they are choosing creators based on engagement and audience fit, not raw follower count. So your engagement rate matters more than your follower count. A 6% engagement rate on 8,000 followers is more impressive than 1% on 50,000.

How to get your engagement rate:

Take your last 10 posts. Add up all the likes and comments. Divide by 10 to get your average. Divide that by your follower count. Multiply by 100. Anything above 3% is good. Above 6% is excellent.

Nova Drop generates a live profile for every creator on the platform brands can see your niche, portfolio, follower count, and platforms in one place. Your Nova Drop profile is your media kit.
