1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Nova Drop (novadrop.lk) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. The Platform

Nova Drop is a marketplace that connects brands with content creators in Sri Lanka. We facilitate the brief creation, content delivery, and payment process.

3. Brand Accounts

  • Brands must provide accurate business information during registration
  • Brands are responsible for the content of their campaign briefs
  • Brands agree to pay the agreed rate in full before receiving final content
  • Payments are made via bank transfer to Nova Drop
  • Nova Drop takes a platform fee of 35-40% from the agreed rate
  • The creator receives the remaining amount

4. Social Media Account Connections

Creators may connect their social media accounts (including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook) to Nova Drop to share analytics data with brands on the platform.

  • Connections are made via OAuth 2.0 — we never ask for or store your social media passwords
  • We only access read-only data including follower count, engagement rate, video metrics, and audience demographics
  • We do not access, read, or store your private messages or DMs on any platform
  • We do not post, publish, or modify any content on your behalf
  • Analytics data shared via connected accounts is displayed to brands for the purpose of campaign matching only
  • You can disconnect your social media accounts from Nova Drop at any time from your account settings
  • Disconnecting your account revokes our access to your data on that platform

5. Creator Accounts

  • Creators must apply and be approved before accessing the platform
  • Creators must provide accurate social media information. Creators may connect social media accounts to verify their metrics. Connected account data is used solely to display analytics to brands within the platform.
  • Creators agree to deliver content that meets the brief requirements
  • Creators are responsible for the quality and originality of submitted content
  • Content submitted must not violate any third party intellectual property rights
  • Creators receive payment after Nova Drop confirms receipt of brand payment

6. Content and Intellectual Property

  • Upon payment confirmation, brands receive full rights to use the delivered content
  • Until payment is confirmed, content remains watermarked and download-locked
  • Nova Drop reserves the right to use anonymised campaign data for platform improvement

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt to transact outside the platform
  • Upload illegal, offensive, or infringing content
  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform

8. Limitation of Liability

Nova Drop is a marketplace facilitator. We are not liable for the quality of content delivered by creators or the accuracy of briefs posted by brands. Maximum liability is limited to the platform fee collected for that transaction.

9. Termination

Nova Drop reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms without prior notice.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved under Sri Lankan jurisdiction.
